Welcome to the home of Sylvan United Church’s Skills & Service Auction — a joyful community event where generosity, creativity, and neighbourly spirit come together.
On October 23rd, we’ll begin our evening with friends and appetizers at 5:00pm. Then gather for an exciting evening featuring a live auctioneer, unique offerings from our congregation, and plenty of laughter and connection.
What is a Skills & Service Auction?
Instead of auctioning off store‑bought items, our community donates time, talents, and experiences. You bid on the service — and the funds support Sylvan’s ministries and outreach.
Think of it as an Auction of Promises:
A home‑cooked dinner, gardening help, music lessons, tech support, handmade crafts, babysitting, and dozens more creative offerings!
At and After the Auction:
If you win a bid, please pick up your item / voucher on the night of the auction, or by October 30, 2026. Payments can be made using debit or credit card or cash . If you can’t pick up by this Oct. 30th, please make arrangements with the office at admin@sylvanunited.ca
