We have brought back the popular Jazz Vespers program at Sylvan. Our second event is on Mardi Gras – Fat Tuesday. Mardi Gras or Shrove Tuesday is the day before the beginning of Lent, a traditional time of fasting. The idea was to eat all the fat and flour and sweets and tempting things in the house before the Lenten fast, and Pancakes for dinner became a tradition.
Join us at 5pm for pancake supper and stay for Jazz Vespers at 7pm. Both events are by donation.
