Glorious Vivaldi

On May 25th, we are thrilled to welcome back Director Elyssa Lefurgy-Smith and the Victoria Baroque Youth Ensemble, along with soloists Eve Daniell, Charlotte Wilson, Ciara Beaudin and the Artistry & Outreach Vocal Ensemble, for two concerts celebrating Vivaldi.  

Our Children’s Concert is 4:00pm – a shorter program with interactive elements and a chance to meet the artists. Tickets available here 

7:00pm will be our hour long program, featuring “Spring” from The Four Seasons, and excerpts of his “Gloria”. Tickets available here

United Church Choir – Our church choir rehearses every second Sunday, after services, from 11.20am – 12.05pm. Music reading and choir experience is helpful but not required. The choir prepares anthems for services and prepares harmony parts of hymns for special occasions. Our Spring rehearsals will be April 14th, 21st, May 5 and 19th

 Community Children’s Choir – welcoming all singers from Kindergarten to Grade 7. Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons. Reading skills are helpful but not required. Teenage volunteers join the kids in the singing and lead games during rehearsals. 

Children’s Spring Choir: There will not be a Spring Choir this year. Please join us for the Christmas Choir in 2024.

Children’s Christmas Choir 2024:  Rehearsals begin November 3rd 1-2pm

Registration is $60 per child, $30 for each additional sibling . Bursaries available upon request. 

Community Teen Choir – for community members 13 – 19. Running September through June. Tuesdays, 12-12.30pm. Drop-in, no registration, food provided. Music reading and experience with group singing is helpful but not required. Choir Leader Eve Daniell, FKSS Teacher Sponsor Anna Roberts.
